Anders Loguin (Sweden) studied percussion at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and orchestra conducting in Sweden, Finland and USA. He is a founding member of the percussion ensemble Kroumata since the start in year 1978 until year 2008 when he left the group. In 2008 Loguin founded a new percussion group, Glorious Percussion. Loguin is professor and Head of the Percussion department at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm where he has taught since 1977. Frequently Loguin is invited to be a juror of international competitions. He has taught and performed master-classes all around the world. In year 2002 Anders Loguin was elected as a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. His majesty the King of Sweden awarded Anders Loguin in 2008 the royal medal “Litteris et Artibus” for his outstanding contribution in the field of music and art in Sweden and abroad.
