This year's International Music Workshop and Festival will take place at a beautiful castle Schloss Kirchberg (an der Jagst) in Southern Germany between July 27 and August 9, 2015 (including the arrival and departure dates).
This workshop is a rather intimate course with a spontaneous and family-like atmosphere, open to advanced musicians (instrumentalists and singers). An applicant may be an individual or may be in a pre-formed group.
Participants will have lots of lessons and coaching from all the professors, and will have an opportunity to work on both chamber music and solo repertoire. There will be at least 3 concerts in the castle and in neighboring towns and the participants will be given the opportunities to perform in public concerts. Professors will be the renowned pianist Kyoko Hashimoto (McGill University) and the distinguished cellist Rafael Rosenfeld (Basel Academy).
The International Music Workshop and Festival Participants' Benefits include:
Chamber music coachings
Solo instrumental lessons
Shared practice/rehearsal rooms with piano
Socialize with faculty members and other participants ... and more!
